Therapy for Brown Girls
Maybe you’re feeling the weight of expectations from family who hold more traditional views around areas like career, relationships, or spiritual and cultural practices. It’s possible you don’t fully align with the perspectives of older generations, and that can create a sense of inner conflict. Please know you are not alone in this journey, and your experiences are valid.
As a 1.5 generation immigrant (born in the Philippines, immigrated to the U.S. when I was 3 years old) and fellow brown girl, I deeply understand the unique challenges we face in finding a path that truly reflects who we are, while balancing the pressures of our heritage and the world around us. I guide clients in embracing their true selves, uncovering ways to honor their unique needs, and supporting them in finding more opportunities for growth and choice in their lives.
